SellanApp is an app publisher for iOS apps. People with great ideas want to have their App Idea developed, and SellanApp connects them with designers, developers, your potential users, distributors and promotors.
You work on your app idea and open it up to the world. Either your App will be funded well enough and gets selected by a developer, or time runs out and no money will change hands. It’s an all or nothing crowd funding auction. Before your App Idea is activated on SellanApp, make sure the idea is thought through and is ready to spread.
Here are 5 questions to ask you yourself, it will help you get started but mostly…. don’t waste your time.
Is crowd funding is the right way to go for you App Idea?
Crowd funding is right for a lot of things, but not for everything. For apps we offer a different approach to Making App Ideas Happen, this is the way we believe is the future. With SellanApp you can first sell your idea, gain traction and funds, after development by SellanApp’s partners you can launch with the fans you gained in the crowd funding campaign. It requires to open up your idea to the crowd, that is part of the experience. When you do this successfully, you have instant ambassadors and users when you launch your app in the store. Less risks are involved and this will benefit you, your pledgers and the developers.
We love to feature our users, and especially developers because they make SellanApp work. Here’s our first detailed story about one of our developers. This time it’s Pushapp, they selected 4 app ideas on SellanApp already and shipped 2 of them in a great fashion. Ottavio Sgrosso, the CEO and developer answering questions here.
